A few summers ago, while holidaying in Nice, in the South of France, we decided to take a bus up the mountains to the village of Eze. The whole family packed into the very crowded bus that wound its way up and up and up. When we got to the top there was another steep walk to get to the Jardin botanique d'Èze - the garden famous for its succulents and the views over the ocean. We were also surprised by the gorgeous modern sculptures. I have painted this little picture over some french poetry and other french papers.
